Specify the woven shell and intended use

Supply the proposed composition, weight, handle, shade and finish, with a swatch where available. Identify the intended layer and activities so sleeve and body room can be reviewed. State lining requirements separately from the lightweight shell direction.

If wind, water or another functional property matters to the product, discuss the desired result and supporting evaluation. The style name alone does not establish a tested outcome, and a property of the shell does not automatically describe the complete jacket.

Map panels, openings and adjustments

Show front and back seam lines, collar or hood requirements, pocket locations and main closure. Provide chest, shoulder, body and sleeve measurements with openings defined. Include any cuff or hem adjustment requests and their component references.

Review the sample worn over the intended layer, open and closed. Check arm reach, closure access and how panel seams sit. Inspect interior finishing and any lining attachment. Record material or trim revisions alongside changes to the garment chart.

Test decoration suitability on the proposed fabric

Provide artwork size, colors and measured location, keeping it clear of pocket openings and panel joins where required. Review the selected application on the actual shell rather than treating the mockup as evidence of adhesion, feel or appearance.

Include label files and care information for approval. If the material changes, confirm whether decoration and seam construction need another review. Keep outstanding functional requirements visible before the final sample is accepted.
