Specify the mesh and any lining

Provide proposed composition, weight, opening structure, shade and handle, with a swatch where available. Identify whether the shorts need a lining and state its material, coverage and attachment for discussion. The mesh exterior alone cannot describe the finished garment’s coverage.

Supply waist, hip, front and back rise, inseam and leg-opening measurements. Mark the intended length and sample size, then show side panels, edge binding or hem construction. Include waistband height, elastic measurement condition and drawcord requirements.

Review artwork for the actual material

If sublimation is requested, provide full panel artwork and color references, then discuss suitability with the selected fabric. If embroidery or patches are proposed, state dimensions and attachment positions. Open mesh needs application review beyond a flat digital mockup.

Inspect decoration legibility, material behavior around the application and the inside finish. Keep artwork placement clear of seams and pockets unless the design requires otherwise. Record whether the selected sample uses the intended mesh and lining.

Check movement and construction together

Try the complete sample while standing, seated and during the movements stated in the brief. Review waistband behavior, leg opening and lining position, then compare flat measurements. The basketball style name does not establish a tested sports-performance result.

Include pocket requirements, labels and care wording with their positions. Keep any required functional evaluation separate and documented, alongside the approved mesh, lining, artwork and finished garment chart.
