Define the loop-back material reference

The starting direction is cotton French terry with an inner loop surface. Confirm proposed composition, GSM, shade and finish with a swatch for the handle and drape you want discussed. The terry name does not specify every yarn or construction detail.

Include waistband and pocket-bag material references where they differ from the main fabric. If the shorts coordinate with a hoodie or sweatshirt, compare the materials and trims together so the intended shade relationship is clear.

Set rise, length and leg opening separately

Provide waist, hip, front and back rise, inseam and hem-opening measurements with the sample size identified. Show where the waistband should sit and where the hem should finish. State how the elastic waist is measured and include drawcord exits and ends.

Show pocket openings and depth against the finished short length. Review the sample standing and seated, checking rise, access and the way the terry hangs. Inspect hems and inner seam finishes, then compare the chart at the agreed measuring points.

Confirm branding on the selected terry

Supply artwork dimensions, colors and measured placement. Review print or embroidery appearance and feel on the actual material rather than approving only a mockup. Keep decoration clear of pockets and seams where required.

Include size and care label files with attachment locations. If a washing review forms part of approval, agree the method and record changes in appearance and dimensions. Retain the selected swatch, garment chart and decorated sample together.
