Turn the relaxed fit into measurable room

Describe where the jacket and pants need room rather than increasing every chart point equally. Provide jacket chest, shoulders, sleeves and length alongside pant waist, hip, rise and leg measurements. Include the intended sample sizes and a reference showing the set worn.

State the desired sleeve and ankle finishes, collar, closures and pocket layout. A loose-fit direction does not decide whether the pants taper or fall straight, so define thigh, knee and hem openings separately.

Review fabric against intended wear

Send the proposed composition, weight, color, finish and a reference for feel and drape. Identify the intended base layer beneath the jacket. If the two pieces use different materials or trims, compare their shade and care expectations together.

During sample review, sit, walk and reach as described in the brief. Check pant rise and pocket access, jacket sleeve reach and how the hem rests around the waistband. Compare the flat charts afterward and record specific areas that need revision.

Finish the coordinated brand brief

Measure logo placement separately on the jacket and pants, with artwork dimensions and color references. Review the application on the chosen materials rather than approving the outfit mockup alone.

Include label files, size pairing rules and packing instructions. If a waistband or body-length revision changes the set’s proportions, review both pieces together again. Keep the final charts, trims and decoration reference in the same approval record.
