Develop cargo pants with a defined leg chart and separate utility-pocket details. Map flaps, closures and any waist or hem adjustments, then review access and fit on the sample.
Use these details as a starting brief. Your quotation needs to confirm fabric availability, quantities, sample terms and production timing.
Provide waist, hip, rise, inseam, thigh, knee and opening measurements. Show the intended straight, tapered or wider leg on a fit reference. Utility pockets add construction details, but they do not define the main pant pattern.
Mark each pocket on front, side and back views, with its width, height, position and opening. Specify flaps, closures, gussets or extra panels where requested. Keep those requirements distinct so a pocket revision does not leave the garment chart ambiguous.
Identify any waistband or hem adjustments, their exit points and proposed components. Send material composition, weight, color and finish references where known. If a feature is intended to serve a particular use, discuss how it should be checked rather than relying on its appearance.
Try the sample standing and seated, checking pocket access and whether the placement interferes with movement. Inspect the side outline and closure operation. Record changes in the construction drawing as well as the chart where dimensions are affected.
Supply measured graphic or embroidery placement, clear of pocket openings and closures where needed. Review the application on the actual material and consider the inside finish near the wearer.
Include waistband, size and care label files plus packing requirements. Retain the approved material and trim references with the final pocket layout. If a closure or pocket position changes later, confirm it on the garment before carrying the sample approval forward.
Send the design, quantity breakdown by color and size, and delivery destination. Material options, sample scope, minimum quantities, production timing and shipping terms are confirmed for the individual order. Request a quote or review sample development.
