A COMPLETE CLOTHING PRODUCTION BRIEF

Include the Details
That Affect Your Quote

Describe each garment

Give every style a name or reference number. Add the fabric composition, weight or feel, fit and main construction details. Specify the measurement units and the size used for your sample chart.

If you are using a catalog product as a reference, say which details you want to keep and which need changing. A product link helps identify the style, but your written brief should describe your own order.

Break down the quantity

The total quantity is useful, but a breakdown by style, color and size explains the order more clearly. Mark any figures that are estimates. For a two-style collection, list the quantity for each garment rather than giving only one combined total.

Include the sample sizes you need and whether the same artwork will be used across all colors. These details help separate development requirements from bulk production requirements.

Add branding and delivery

List print or embroidery artwork, placement dimensions, labels and packaging. Note whether artwork is ready or still being prepared. Include the destination and explain whether your target date refers to sample review, dispatch or arrival.

If you have a budget range, state what it should cover. Ask for the garment, decoration, sample, packaging and shipping scope to be clear in the quotation.

QUOTE REQUEST QUESTIONS

Before You Submit
Your Manufacturing Inquiry

What can I send if I do not have a tech pack?

Attach clear reference images or a PDF showing the garment, and explain the intended measurements, fabric and changes in the message. Identify which details are settled and which need development. Read about custom cut and sew development for the information a garment specification needs.

How do I request several styles with one attachment?

The form accepts one PDF, JPEG, PNG or WebP file up to 10 MB. You can combine several style sheets into one PDF and label each style clearly. Summarize the quantity and key requirements for every style in the message so the request can be reviewed alongside the file.

Can I submit the form before my exact quantity is decided?

Yes. Use the estimated quantity range and explain which styles or colors are still being considered. If you know the exact total, use the exact quantity field instead and add the breakdown to your message. Minimum quantities need to be discussed for your selected fabric, style and decoration.

What needs confirming before I place the order?

Review the garment specification, sample approval, size and color quantities, price, payment terms, production schedule and delivery scope. Include labels and packing requirements in that review. The sampling and development guide explains how to keep an approval record for the product itself.
