FABRIC, FIT & BRANDING

Manufacturing Options for This Style

Build the oversized shape from separate measurements

The proposed 240–300 GSM cotton range is a starting point for development, with the final fabric and weight agreed through your brief. Define chest width and body length independently, then set the shoulder extension, sleeve length and opening. Identify where each measurement starts so a dropped shoulder is accounted for in the finished sleeve reach.

Show the intended hem position on a fit reference. A wide body can be short or long; neither follows automatically from the word oversized. Include the neckline shape, rib width and attachment, plus sleeve and body hem construction.

Review weight alongside handle and drape

Compare the actual jersey swatch with your desired surface texture and outline. Two cotton fabrics in the same weight range can differ in yarn, construction and finishing. Review how the body and sleeves hang on the pattern before settling the material.

Try the sample with arms resting and moving forward, then inspect the flat measurements. If washing is part of approval, agree the care method and record neckline, length and width before and after it. Keep material substitutions visible in the revision list.

Position the branding on the wider body

Supply print or embroidery dimensions and a distance from the neckline or another agreed point. State whether graphic size remains constant across garment sizes. Review the decoration on the selected jersey, including appearance and surface feel.

Provide brand, size and care label files with their attachment positions. Retain the approved sample, swatch and final artwork version together, so the private label instructions describe one complete product.
