## Specify the body and sleeves separately

The starting design proposes a wool-blend body with contrast sleeves. Confirm the exact body composition, weight and handle, then identify the sleeve material and shade for discussion. Contrast describes appearance; it does not establish a particular sleeve material.

Supply chest, shoulder, body and sleeve measurements with the intended base layer. Show the collar, rib cuffs and hem, front closure and pocket construction on front and back views. Identify lining requirements and any inside pockets separately.

## Compare trims with the mixed materials

Review rib shade, stripe layout where requested, and dimensions alongside the body and sleeves. Specify closure finish, spacing and attachment references. Inspect the complete sample open and closed, including how the collar and front edges rest.

Mixed materials need a shared care discussion. If washing or another evaluation is part of the brief, agree the method for the actual combination rather than assuming the body fabric defines the entire jacket. Record material substitutions before approval.

## Make embroidered details measurable

Provide artwork size, colors and placement for chest, back or sleeves. If patches are requested, include their shape, edge and attachment details. Review stitching and inside backing on the selected material, with seams and pockets in place.

Check sleeve reach and pocket access while wearing the intended layer, then compare the chart. Keep the approved body, sleeve, lining and trim references with final label files and the decorated garment.
