## Specify the complete sleeve

Supply sleeve length from an agreed point, upper-sleeve width and wrist opening alongside shoulder and chest measurements. State whether the wrist uses a plain hem, rib cuff or another finish for discussion. A unisex fit direction still requires a sample size and garment chart.

Show where the sleeve should finish with the arm resting, then describe the room needed for movement. If the shoulder is extended, account for that position when reviewing sleeve reach. Set body length and hem position independently so the long sleeve does not imply a longer body.

## Compare the jersey with neckline and wrist trims

Cotton jersey is the starting material direction. Send the proposed weight, composition, shade and handle, leaving undecided items clear in the brief. If cuffs use a separate material, compare their color and recovery with the body fabric.

Review the sample when reaching forward and bending the arm, then inspect it flat. Check whether the sleeve twists, pulls the body or gathers more than intended at the wrist. Record the affected area and construction before changing the chart.

## Give sleeve graphics their own placement instructions

State artwork width, height and location relative to the shoulder seam and wrist. Explain whether it reads with the sleeve flat or in the worn position, and review the decorated sample accordingly.

Keep chest or back graphics, label files and packing requirements in the same brief. If a care review is agreed, compare sleeve and body length afterward using the original measurement points, then retain the final sample and artwork version together.
