Develop relaxed fleece sweatpants with separate waist, rise, inseam and leg measurements. Specify inner finish, waistband, pockets and branding, then review the material with the fit.

## Define the relaxed leg through measurements

Supply waist, hip, front and back rise, inseam, thigh, knee and hem-opening dimensions. Identify whether the hem is open, cuffed or uses another proposed finish. A relaxed fit can taper or remain broad through the lower leg, so show the shape on a fit reference.

State where the waistband should sit and how its measurement is taken. For elastic construction, record the relaxed condition and any separately agreed extended dimension. Include drawcord exits, ends and trim requirements for discussion.

## Compare the fleece beyond its weight

Provide proposed composition, GSM, shade and inner finish, with a swatch for the desired handle. Heavyweight does not by itself specify drape or warmth. Review the chosen fleece on the actual pant pattern before settling the material.

Try the sample standing and seated, checking rise and pocket access. Inspect how the leg falls while walking, then compare the flat chart. If a waistband or fabric changes, revisit where the pants sit and how the hem falls.

## Keep pockets and branding clear

Show side and back pocket openings, depth and attachment. Supply artwork dimensions and placement relative to pockets and side seams. Review decoration on the proposed fleece, including the inside finish where relevant.

Include waistband, size and care label artwork with attachment positions. If washing is part of approval, agree the method and record appearance and dimensions. Retain the complete approved chart, material and decorated sample together.
