Develop relaxed fleece sweat shorts with a clear rise, inseam and leg opening. Define waistband, pockets, inner finish and branding, then review worn length on the sample.

## Define length from the intended waist position

Provide waist, hip, front and back rise, inseam and hem-opening measurements. Show where the shorts should finish on the fit reference and identify the sample size. Above-knee or relaxed describes a direction but does not replace those dimensions.

Specify the elastic waist measurement condition and any drawcord requirements. Include waistband height, exits and ends, with trim references for discussion. A waistband change can alter worn length, so assess it with the rise and inseam.

## Compare fleece and pocket construction

Send proposed composition, GSM, shade and inner finish, with a swatch for the heavyweight handle you want reviewed. Weight alone does not define how the relaxed leg will fall. Identify pocket-bag material where it differs from the body fabric.

Show pocket depth and opening size against the short silhouette. Review the sample standing and seated, checking access and whether a pocket bag shows at the hem. Inspect the inside seams and waistband attachment, then compare the flat chart.

## Keep branding clear of openings

Supply artwork width, height and measured placement relative to pockets, waistband or side seams. Review print or embroidery on the proposed fleece, including appearance and inside finish where relevant.

Include size and care labels with attachment positions, plus branded trims and packing details where requested. If washing forms part of approval, agree the method and record dimensional and appearance changes with the selected fabric and finished sample.
